Vibrant yellow, coconut scented Gorse with abundant pea flowers and thick, prickly spines is basking in the hushed cool stillness of dusk on Chobham Common. As the sun lowers towards the horizon, the silver moon begins to ascend.
 
Surrounded by native ferns, a sneaky fox searches for a midnight snack. In the distance the Victoria Monument is silhouetted against the inky blue night. Overhead a small helicopter from Fairoaks airport is seen taking to the starry sky with constellations of Leo and Ursa Minor.
