With a lifelong passion for colour, pattern and texture, I decided in 2023 to spend six months (pre-launch) working on my brand AmeTaylorGibson.
In that time I set out to evolve my voice, style and methods and to most importantly feel a passion and purpose in my work that will sustain and progess as time goes on. It is genuinely a joy to create and share my creative work as a print artist with you.
I have been somewhat overwhelmed by the positive feedback I have received in such a short period of time since launching. THANK YOU so much and I hope my designs inspire and rejunvinate your spirit.

I share more content including insights into my creative process in my newsletter. So if you want to hear more then please sign up to my mailing list, see below.

Here is a sneaky peek at some of my content...

My design technique

To create my designs, I hand draw concepts freehand and then use a Wacom Cintiq, which allows me the flexibility to rework and refine by drawing directly onto the screen. If William Morris was around today, do you think he would entertain a Wacom? Probably not!
I enjoy working with traditional techniques such as watercolour and gouache and these mediums feed my colour and design concepts.

What is a Wacom? Why use a Wacom? What are the alternatives to Wacom? How do you create a process where you combine watercolour drawings with Adobe Illustrator? I hear you, read on...
