The idea for my Hibiscus Heaven print came from a visit to the tropical climate zone in the glasshouse at RHS Wisley. It always feels special to step into another world full of exotic and magical plants.
 
This particular hibiscus is called Simple Pleasures and was in full bloom last summer.
 
I have also added some fabulous Wisley orchids:
The fragrant and ever popular houseplant orchid - Dendrobium Nobile.
And the fantastic and rare Bulbophyllum Eberhardtii orchid with its umbel display of polka-dot flowers. This plant is found in mountainous regions of South East Asia as well as the Wisley glasshouse!
 
Finally, I went for a colour combo of sultry pinks, yellows and purples and background palace tile motif.
